Samantha has been promoting her upcoming fantasy film "Shaakuntalam," but she has now paused it due to illness.
She took to social media to inform her fans that she would be missing an event scheduled for today.
“Unfortunately the hectic schedules and promotions have taken its toll, and I am down with a fever and have lost my voice,” she tweeted.
Samantha recently recovered from Myositis after battling it for over six months. She is currently filming 'Citadel,' a web series, and 'Kushi,' a film starring Vijay Deverakonda.
Producer Dil Raju, on the other hand, canceled the 'Shaakuntalam' premiere show scheduled for Wednesday night.
