Sekhar Kammula made the film 'Leader', the debut film of Rana Daggubati which dealt with a love story in the backdrop of politics. He thus gave a try from his routine love and emotional films.
Sekhar also tried a thriller once but that didn't work well. That means the people are fixed to watch love, human relations and emotions from him.
But for the next film which he is doing with Dhanush, the backdrop is going to be the politics again. Many like Leader even now for its sensibility though it was misfired at the box office.
Sunil Narang is producing the film this time and Sekhar Kammula is taking utmost care to make it a commercial hit along with retaining his nuances in the film making.
