His “Fidaa” had collected more than 2 million dollars in the USA. All his previous films were blockbusters in the overseas market.
He is now worried about the current dull business in the theatrical business. The USA market has not opened up yet.
All the recent releases have raked in meager revenue (less than $300k). If the US business continues to be dull, he will be facing huge losses.

Thanks to the viral song “Saranga Dariya”, the film has suddenly become red hot in the domestic trade circles. The romantic drama will hit the screens next month.
Sekhar Kammula is not getting big remuneration for this film as he has taken partnership in the overall business. If the film makes solid business he will get a big amount. Or he would end up with low remuneration.
Unless the USA market gets back to its glory, he will not get a big pie in the film’s overall profits. That is his worry now.
