Exhibitors said that it is burdening the common man while booking tickets on bookmyshow. So they attempted to dictate terms to bookmyshow to cut the extra convenience fee on the tickets.
Everybody thought that the exhibitors were doing this in the interest of the common man.
Today the issue got 'settled' with a blackmail and the booking was opened on bookmyshow.
There is no change in the ticket prices or the convenience charges of bookmyshow. Everything is as before. Then what is the 'settlement'?
Inside sources say that the exhibitors blackmailed bookmyshow to get their share of percentage from what the bookmyshow collects as convenience fee from the buyers. That's all.
So, this is a backend game played by the exhibitors in the guise of fighting for the benefit of the common man.
Now on every ticket sale, the exhibitors get an extra income of Rs 15/- or 20/- from the online ticket selling platform. This is a kind of loot that is happening now.
The exhibitors had this plan of dealing with bookmyshow and now they used the right time of 'Bheemla Nayak' release. Finally the audience became bakaras.
