Adipurush is based on an episode from the mythological epic Ramayan and features Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan in pivotal roles.
While the number of cinemas decreased on the second day of release, the film's collections showed a relatively modest drop of around 30-35%, which is better than many other big Telugu films released in the past two years.
In terms of box office collections, Adipurush earned 140 crores on its first day, and trade pundits report that the film's worldwide collections on the second day reached 65 crores. As a result, Adipurush's total collections now exceed 200 crores.
