The first look of Samantha from her epic film Shakuntalam has been released today by the movie's makers.
It features the actress in a white dress, sitting in a beautiful jungle in the midst of deer, rabbit, peacocks, butterflies and swans etc to her company.
Shaakuntalam is written and directed by Gunasekhar and produced by Neelima Guna under the banner of Gunaa DRP - Teamworks. The film will be presented by Dil Raju.
Based on a popular Indian play Shakuntala by Kalidasa, the film is being made in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
The first look poster also carries the hashtags #EpicLoveStory and #MythologyForMillenials.
Samantha will be seen in the titular role of Shakuntala and Dev Mohan is playing Dushyanta, the king of Puru Dynasty along with Mohan Babu, Sachin Khedekar, Gautami, Aditi Balan and Ananya Nagalla in supporting roles.
Interestingly, the film marks the acting debut of Allu Arjun's daughter Allu Arha.
