Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda, long rumoured to be a couple, are set to reunite for an upcoming film directed by Shyam Singha Roy (2021) filmmaker Rahul Sankrityan.
Announced in May 2024, the project has already sparked excitement among fans of their past hits Geetha Govindam (2018) and Dear Comrade (2019).
The duo was originally scheduled to begin shooting last week, but the production has been delayed after Vijay was diagnosed with dengue.
Rashmika has a packed slate ahead, with 'The Girlfriend' and 'Mysaa' in the pipeline.
Vijay, meanwhile, will be seen next in the spy-action thriller 'Kingdom', co-starring Bhagyashri Borse and Satyadev, followed by 'SVC 59', currently in development.
