'RRR' could turn the heads of a section of western media and receive praise from Hollywood filmmakers. Now it is trying to get the attention of the Oscar Awards Committee too.
All in all, the film's success has left the lead actors, NTR and Ram Charan, befuddled.
The question is whether they should act in a story-based film or one with a larger-than-life canvas. Ram Charan and NTR are both in a tight spot.
Before the release of "RRR," Ram Charan was ecstatic to collaborate with Gowtam Tinnanuri. He personally called the "Jersey" director and expressed interest to collaborate.
The movie was announced with great fanfare. However, he shelved the film six months later.
He has doubts whether Gowtam can do justice to his post-RRR image.
Ram Charan has also met with directors from Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada. However, none of them impressed him with their scripts. He is unable to make a decision on his next film with his post RRR image. He is currently working on Shankar's #RC15.
NTR, on the other hand, is still undecided about the muhurtham of Siva Koratala's film. He asked the director twice to change and improve the script. NTR was even more perplexed.
NTR had already cut ties with Trivikram and put the film on hold. He even kept the film with 'Uppena' Butchibabu on hold.
