Thanks to the hype and brand names of Rajamouli, NTR, and Ram Charan, “RRR” took the box office by storm everywhere.
It had a dream run for the first three days. Many expected that the film would crash down on Monday, but it didn’t happen. It had a normal drop in the collections on Monday compared to the weekend.
But the drop continued further during the weekdays. By Thursday, the fall is huge. The Wednesday collections in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are pretty poor for a biggie like this.
Despite the hype and inflated collections, the movie could not attract big numbers on Wednesday. The collections on Thursday morning shows and Matinee shows are abysmally low.
“RRR” is already struggling to get decent numbers in Tamilnadu, Kerala, and Karnataka. The Telugu states have also seen a big fall from Tuesday.
Its fate now depends on the second weekend. The exhibitors have hopes that the film would see a huge jump in collections during the second weekend.
