Rohith's Sundarakanda Fansy Non-Theatrical Deals

Rohith's Sundarakanda Fansy Non-Theatrical Deals

Nara Rohith's wholesome family entertainer Sundarakanda is getting ready for release in nearly one month on August 27th for Vinayaka Chaturthi.

Directed by Venkatesh Nimmalapudi, and produced by Sandeep Picture Palace, the film has already captured attention with its rib-tickling teaser and a magical first single.

Sundarakanda presents Nara Rohith in different looks, portraying two distinct love stories set in different phases of life, opposite Sridevi and Vriti Vaghani, respectively.

Meanwhile, the film has secured fancy non-theatrical deals, reflecting the strong content. Hotstar has acquired the OTT and satellite rights for a whopping 9 crore.

This deal was reportedly finalized after three different teams from the digital platform watched the final cut, and everyone expressing their liking for the content, signalling their confidence in the film’s quality and appeal.

Additionally, the audio and Hindi dubbing rights brought in another 3 crore, taking the total non-theatrical business to 12 crore.

For a film of this genre and scale, this marks an excellent pre-release performance, allowing the makers to recover a significant portion of their investment even before the theatrical run.
