In his characteristic style, controversial film director Ram Gopal Varma took a selfie against the backdrop of Rajahmundry Central Prison, where former chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu is currently in remand.
Accompanying the selfie, RGV's message read: "He (Naidu) is inside: Me outside."
Adding to the provocative tone, Varma remarked, "Hey Chandrababu Naidu, none of the Telugu film industry, which is closely associated with you, seems to care about your arrest. Don’t you feel like Telugu film personalities are betraying you from the front?" he questioned.
These remarks by the film director have been met with enthusiasm by YSRC leaders and supporters.
Interestingly, the Telugu film industry has shown little concern about the arrest of Chandrababu Naidu, apart from a handful of cine artists and filmmakers.
