RGV Apologizes To Chiranjeevi at Last

It is known that Ram Gopal Varma made certain tweets about Chiranjeevi almost eight years ago during the release of Khaidi No. 150, mocking the stills of the actor from the film.

In fact, Chiranjeevi expressed his anguish toward the director in a very decent manner, stating that RGV was talented but that he didn’t understand why he made such comments.

However, it was Nagababu who went all out against RGV at that time, using harsh words to defend his brother.

Until now, everything had been silent between the two parties. But Chiranjeevi’s recent video byte regarding Shiva re-release brought the topic back into discussion.

Putting aside the past, Chiranjeevi came forward to appreciate RGV and his iconic film Shiva. This gesture spoke volumes about his character and won many hearts. Chiranjeevi is truly magnanimous.

On the other hand, RGV also apologized to Chiranjeevi in a tweet today, stating: “Thank you @KChiruTweets gaaru. Also, on this occasion, I want to sincerely apologise to you if I ever unintentionally offended you. Thank you once again for your large-heartedness.”

There’s also something interesting to note. In the video byte, Chiranjeevi first praised Nagarjuna, referring to him as his friend, and only later mentioned RGV.

This clearly indicated that Chiranjeevi gave the byte primarily out of respect for his friend Nagarjuna and not directly for RGV. He even mentioned RGV second in order of appreciation, which no one in their video bytes did.

Still, it remains a great gesture. It seems evident that it was Nagarjuna who persuaded Chiranjeevi to record the video, not RGV.

Is this a patch-up between RGV and Chiranjeevi? If Chiranjeevi also responds to RGV’s tweet, we can consider it so.

Otherwise, it suggests that Chiranjeevi still holds some hard feelings toward RGV and only gave the byte as a favor to Nagarjuna, not as an attempt to reconcile.
