Director Sukumar has unveiled the teaser of ‘Republic’ starring Sai Tej in the lead role and directorial of Deva Katta.
The teaser begins with a famous English journalist George Orwell’s quote, “In our age, there is no such thing as keeping out of politics” and right away hints that this is an intense political drama.
The visuals shift to showing political mob attacking people and a powerful lady played by Ramya Krishnan who is a big influencer in politics.
The teaser runs on the backdrop of Sai Tej’s dialogues and he says “Democracy is not about right to vote or right to voice. We are still leading feudal system.”
Republic teaser sums up by saying when the roots of system are corrupt, everyone is corrupt.
Sai Tej plays a studious role and fits in it aptly. The teaser has a complete Deva Katta’s mark and his dialogues are powerful yet thoughtful. Mani Sharma’s music elevates the teaser to another level.
Overall ‘Republic’ teaser is highly impressive and promises that it’s not a regular film.
Produced by JB Entertainments and Zee Studios, the film is slated for June 4th release.
