Producers' Council Slams Theater Owners

Single theaters in Telangana have decided to suspend movie screenings for ten days due to low occupancy for many films.

Though the decision was made by individual theater owners in Telangana, the news was widely covered by all media outlets.

The news spread like wildfire, causing major issues for the Telugu Film Producers Council and the Telangana Film Chamber of Commerce.

Now, the Council has slammed Telangana exhibitors for making a unilateral decision without informing the producers.

According to the Council's statement, all theaters in Telangana and Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, will remain operational.

The Council stated that all new movies will be released starting next week.
