Nikhil Siddharth was opposed to "Spy" being released on June 29 and refused to share the first song on social media owing to a disagreement with the producer about the release date.
Nikhil Siddharth requested that the film be delayed so that he and his crew may aggressively promote it in North India.
However, producers insisted that if they do not comply with the June 29 deadline set by Amazon Prime, they will lose a significant amount of money.
If they move the date to July, the OTT Company either reduces their payout or premieres the film early.
Hence, the producer asked Nikhil Siddharth to follow their plan.
They appear to have reached an agreement, and the film will be released in theaters on June 29th, as previously stated.
