'Prakash Raj More Dangerous Than an ISI Agent'

'Prakash Raj More Dangerous Than an ISI Agent'

Actor Prakash Raj has stirred controversy with a sarcastic social media post linking Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Operation Sindoor.

The post has sparked strong condemnation from BJP leaders, with party spokesperson NV Subhash calling the actor’s comments “deeply shameful.”

Raj took a dig at a headline that read, “Modi government to deliver sindoor to every household,” and captioned it “One Nation, One Husband,” interpreted as a jibe at both Modi and the initiative.

He followed it up with another post asking, “But why will women take #Sindoor from this old man?”, which many saw as a personal attack on the Prime Minister’s age and marital status.

NV Subhash reacted sharply, accusing Raj of disrespecting Indian women and undermining democratic values.

“His words are worse than that of an ISI agent. A man who preaches values on-screen has become a villain off-screen,” he said.

He urged Raj to reflect on his remarks and withdraw them, adding, “He should respect women, including his own mother and sister.”

About Operation Sindoor

Operation Sindoor was a coordinated Indian military strike conducted in retaliation for the Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 people in Jammu and Kashmir on April 22.

Launched on May 7, the operation targeted nine terrorist infrastructure sites across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, including Kotli, Bahawalpur, and Muzaffarabad.
