Despite ongoing health challenges — particularly persistent knee issues — and several production delays, Prabhas remains fully committed to all his upcoming films.
Rumors had recently circulated that the actor was considering shelving the sequel to Kalki in favor of other high-profile projects, including Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit, Prashanth Neel’s next action film, and Hanu Raghavapudi’s Fauji.
There was also speculation that Prabhas was leaning more toward Prashanth Varma’s mythological drama, rather than continuing with the mytho-fantasy universe of Kalki.
However, Prabhas has now put all such speculation to rest.
While extending birthday wishes to Kalki director Nag Ashwin, he confirmed his excitement for Kalki 2, stating that he’s eager to see the film’s magic unfold.
With this statement, it's clear that Prabhas has no plans to back out of any of his current commitments. All of his projects are moving forward — if not immediately, then steadily over time.
The Raja Saab, directed by Maruthi, and Fauji, helmed by Hanu Raghavapudi, are on track for release — one expected later this year, and the other in 2026.
Prabhas is also set to begin filming Spirit as scheduled. Meanwhile, Kalki 2 is expected to go on floors in either 2026 or 2027.
