A Tamilnadu politician who made disparaging remarks about actress Trisha has now changed his mind. He apologized to Trisha, saying his statement had been misinterpreted.
In a recent interview, AV Raju, a former AIADMK member, claimed that Trisha received Rs 25 lakhs from an MLA as a settlement. His statement in the viral video sparked a lot of discussion on the internet and social media.
Trisha responded quickly and stated that she would take legal action against AV Raju. Vishal and other actors stepped forward to support Trisha and condemn the politician.
Now, the politician claims he did not say Trisha took the money for any illegal act. He apologized and stated that his intentions were different, but many interpreted them in an obscene way.
Trisha is currently working on Mani Ratnam's Thug Life", Ajith's "Vidaa Muyarchi" , and "Chiranjeevi's Vishwambhara".
