Telugu film director Krish has been labeled an "absconder" by the Telangana Police after failing to appear for questioning in connection with a hotel drug bust case.
According to the Telangana Police, the director was expected to cooperate with the investigation on Wednesday regarding the drugs case, which involved the arrest of a BJP leader's son. A notice under Section 160 of the CrPC has been issued by the Telangana police.
On February 25, three individuals, including a city-based construction and real estate firm director, were apprehended for allegedly consuming cocaine in a hotel room in Gachibowli.
One of the arrested individuals is also the son of a BJP leader. Krish was also summoned by the police as he was reportedly present at the party.
