Mythri, Harika and Dil Raju's banners are considered to be the big production banners in Tollywood.
But silently another banner has come up in the list making big films in line. That is The People's Media banner.
The production house is making films with Prabhas, Pawan Kalyan and many more. There are about 16 films in hand for this banner.
The banner has faced severe tension with Karthikeya 2 before its release. The production house couldn't make breakeven with non theatrical rights. All the hopes were pinned only on the theatrical collection.
Nobody has shown interest to buy Naizam rights of the film though offered at negotiable price. It was sold at reasonable prices in Andhra and other regions. But it bagged the jackpot.
With the overflows in Andhra and thumping collections in Naizam the film made great profit. Being its own release in Hindi, lifted the big fortune.
Though 'Dhamaka' was able to pull some expectations, there were several doubts surrounding the film. Raviteja has seen incessant flops in recent times. Due to this, the business in Andhra was closed at Rs 11 Cr ratio.
Finally, they offered for Rs 9 Cr itself expecting the overflows. Similarly the film was released on its own in Naizam at Rs 6 cr advance. On the first day itself it minted Rs 6.25 Cr gross in Naizam. So, whatever is collected subsequently falls under profits.
TG Vishwa Prasad and Vivek Kuchibhotla are the producers. The expectations are that the film would mint Rs 15 Cr in Naizam itself. So, each producer may bag a sum of Rs 4 Cr each.
The films 'Ramabanam' in the combination of Gopichand and Sreevas, 'Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi' in the combination of Avasarala Srinivas and Naga Shourya are coming up from this banner shortly.
