Director Srikanth Addala clarified that his film Peddha Kapu with debutant Virat Karrna will be released as a two-part series. The first part Peddha Kapu-1 is set for release on the 29th of this month.
The trailer of the movie was released the other day with a superb response. Many wondered whether the movie would show one caste in a good light and another caste in a bad light.
Srikanth Addala clarified the same saying, “Peddha Kapu is not a caste-based movie. Peddha Kapu doesn’t represent any caste. Those who help or protect people around him are referred to as Peddha Kapu. The character of the protagonist represents every common man.”
The director also informed that he took inspiration from some real incidents, though it is crafted as a fictional tale.
Producer Miryala Ravinder Reddy stated that he spent whatever the subject demanded.
