Pawan's Remuneration For 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu'

Pawan's Remuneration For 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu'

If industry buzz is to be believed, actor and politician Pawan Kalyan may have taken a more considerate approach with his upcoming film Harihara Veera Mallu.

While he recently claimed to charge Rs. 2 crore per day for film shoots, sources suggest that he received only around Rs. 11 crore for the entire project.

Reportedly, the initial payment was for Rs. 10 crore, with an additional Rs. 1 crore added later.

Despite his star power and the scale of the film, it is said that Pawan Kalyan did not press the producer for more payment — possibly due to the financial challenges the producer was facing.

Some speculate that Pawan, now with a significant role in the Andhra Pradesh government, chose not to make things difficult for the production team.

If this is true, it's an uncommon show of empathy and professionalism in an industry where top stars usually do not compromise on their fees.

In what might be a gesture of gratitude, the producer is reportedly spending generously on the film’s promotions.

There are even murmurs that there could be a profit-sharing arrangement in place, should the film perform well at the box office — a fair approach in such situations.

If all this holds true, Pawan Kalyan’s gesture reflects rare maturity and understanding, setting a positive example in Tollywood.
