Pawan Kalyan has decided to star in the Telugu remake of Malayalam hit Ayyappanum Koshiyum. The Gabbar Singh actor will resume Vakeel Saab shoot from this month end and will wrap it up by November.
With Krish launching another film, Pawan Kalyan will be free from December to March and he wants to complete Ayyappanum Koshiyum during that period.
Sithara Entertainments will be bankrolling this project and Rana Daggubati is expected to play the other lead role in it.
It was Rana who had shown immense interest in remaking this Malayalam cult film, but the names of other actors were reported when Pawan Kalyan’s name surfaced.
Rana hasn’t given his approval to the makers, but they are reportedly trying hard to bring him on board. Director also is yet to be finalized.
They are not looking for frontline directors to keep a check on the cost of production. One of the mid range directors will helm this project according to reports.
