Vikranth, the young hero who is coming up with Santhana Prapthirasthu soon, spoke to GreatAndhra in an exclusive chitchat.
He shared that he lost nearly Rs 25 crore with his first film and also faced negative reviews for his performance.
Determined to prove himself, he is now returning with Santhana Prapthirasthu to build a stronger career and show critics that he can truly act.
Speaking about the film, Vikranth said it deals with the growing issue of infertility in today’s world.
“It’s an honest subject packed with entertainment,” he explained. “The film is made with genuine intent and will certainly touch the audience’s hearts. After I signed it, many friends and relatives shared their own experiences with infertility and appreciated my choice of subject.”
He also spoke about the fun moments on set, sharing entertaining insights about Tarun Bhaskar, Vennela Kishore and Abhinav Gomatam.
Discussing the film’s prospects, Vikranth admitted, “The openings for a small film like this may be poor, but with word of mouth, from the evening shows the theatres will be full, is what I believe.”
Santhana Prapthirasthu is directed by Sanjeev Reddy and produced by Madhura Sreedhar Reddy and Nirvi Hariprasad Reddy, with Vikranth and Chandini Chowdhary playing the lead roles.
