After a string of flops, actor Nithiin has decided to take a more restrained approach with his upcoming film Thammudu.
The failure of his previous film Robinhood hit him particularly hard, especially after he went all out with promotions, placing full trust in director Venky Kudumula.
From college and city tours to temple visits, public events, interviews, and even Instagram reels — Nithiin left no stone unturned.
Yet, despite the aggressive marketing, the film failed to make a strong opening and collapsed at the box office within two days, leaving the actor deeply disappointed.
The setback significantly impacted his morale.
For Thammudu, produced by Dil Raju and slated for release on July 4, Nithiin has reportedly asked the producer to decide his remuneration based on the film’s business performance, opting not to make any upfront financial demands.
Learning from past experience, Nithiin has chosen a low-profile promotional campaign this time, preferring to wait for the audience’s verdict before taking any major steps.
