Natural Star Nani who is riding high with consecutive hits is set to deliver yet another blockbuster with his latest crime thriller, HIT: The 3rd Case.
The film has created Mayhem at the box office, exceeding all expectations and setting a sensational day one record.
Unlike most thrillers, which typically open to modest numbers compared to mass commercial entertainers, HIT 3 has defied the norm by collecting a staggering Rs 43 crore in worldwide gross on its opening day.
This makes it the highest day one grosser in Nani’s career, surpassing his previous best, Dasara, which opened with 38 crore.
Among all Indian films released yesterday, HIT: The 3rd Case emerged as the biggest opener, outpacing all other outings. It is the worldwide No 1 movie among all Indian movies arrived yesterday.
Nani has now firmly established himself as a box office force, outshining his peers in terms of day one collections.
The film's performance overseas has been equally phenomenal. In North America, the Sailesh Kolanu directorial crossed the coveted $1 million mark, collecting a strong $300K on Thursday night (as of 10 PM), pushing the total to an impressive $1.18 million.
This makes it the highest opener for Nani in the region and also the top day one performer among all new Indian releases in the region.
Advance bookings for the second day are robust, with exceptional ticket sales reflecting the growing momentum.
If this trend continues, HIT: The 3rd Case is well on its way to becoming the highest-grossing film of Nani’s career.
