'My parents resisted me from doing this film': Rashmika

Hero Vijay Deverakonda said ‘Dear Comrade’ is dedicated to all the fans out there and also to director Bharat Kamma’s father who passed away during the making of this film.

The pre-release event of ‘Dear Comrade’ was successfully held in Vizag amidst huge fan fare.

Speaking Vijay said, “This film is personally very close not just to me but all the people who have worked for it. It’s a three years of journey and finally we are coming this Friday.”

Vijay Deverakonda thanked the producers Mythri Movie Makers.

“I love them man! They gave us incredible support when we said we want to make this film in four languages and then the music festival,” said Vijay and then about director Bharat Kamma, he was like my brother as he was there in every step of mine in the last three years.

Heroine Rashmika Mandanna got emotional when she was addressing the gathering.

“My parents resisted me from doing this film. But I fought with them. Then I had to learn cricket game. I fought with body. Today I’m here I fought with many things. So this ‘Dear Comrade’ tells only one thing. Just fight for what you love the most,” said Rashmika.

Director Bharat Kamma said he has only one regret in his life and it is his debut film ‘Dear Comrade’ is releasing after his father’s death.
