Balakrishna was approached for the Telugu remake of Ayyappanum Koshiyum to play the role of a rebel turned police officer. But the veteran has reportedly rejected it outright as he didn’t find the character interesting enough.
Remake rights of Ayyappanum Koshiyum were bought by Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainments and Rana Daggubati also is keen on making it as a joint venture.
Rana Daggubati is ready to play the young spoiled politician character played by Prithviraj Sukumaran in the original.
Sithara Entertainments is looking for another veteran star to essay Biju Menon’s character in Telugu remake. They may approach Venkatesh as he is inclined to do multi-starrers with this generation actors.
It would sure be an interesting project to look forward if the Daggubati stars come together.
