The team Kuberaa opted for Pan India promotions, and today they hold an event in Mumbai, with the core team in attendance.
Rashmika stated that she did the movie, mainly she got the opportunity to work with Nagarjuna, Dhanush and Sekhar Kammula in a film, which for her is a rarity.
Dhanush disclosed that he played a beggarin the movie.
“Sekhar Kammula guided me with incredible clarity, showing me how to approach the character both emotionally and physically. He’s an exceptional human being. He’s pure, sincere, and honest. When he narrated the story to me in just 20 minutes, I was immediately drawn to his honesty and conviction.
One memorable experience was shooting with Rashmika in a dump yard for over six hours. She was absolutely okay with it, even told me that she can’t smell anything. However, it was very tough for me. Moments like that show how deep we went into the world of this film."
Nagarjuna thanked the North audience for supporting from his starting days of Shiva to now.
“The audience here has embraced my work, even the dubbed films. But this project is particularly special. I was at a point where I was wondering what kind of roles to take up next. I didn’t want to repeat myself.
Sekhar Kammula, a director I’ve admired for 15 years, approached me with this role, and I said yes almost instantly. I didn’t need a full narration. I already knew what he’s capable of. His heart, as Dhanush said, is pure, and that honesty is reflected in every scene of his films.
The cast has been phenomenal. Sarbh is absolutely brilliant and delivered Telugu lines better than most of us. Rashmika is a powerhouse performer; her spontaneity and energy lift every frame. Dhanush transforms himself every day. Watching him on set was like watching someone live a different life entirely. And DSP’s music’s elevates the soul of the film. I’m truly honored to be part of this journey."
The movie is slated for release on the 20th of this month.
