Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas steps into the horror thriller genre for the first time with Kishkindhapuri, directed by Kaushik Pegallapati. The film is slated for release on the 12th of this month.
“I always want to do films that the audience enjoys. Most of my earlier films were mass commercial entertainers. But personally, I’ve always loved different and unique concepts like Kishkindhapuri,” says Bellamkonda Sreenivas.
The young actor recently watched the film along with the team and close friends. “The experience was amazing, specifically the sound design. Radha Krishna, who worked on Salaar, Animal, and Kantara, did a phenomenal job with the sound,” he shared.
He emphasized that the film has a strong narrative. “The action is deeply rooted in the story itself. Everything in this film unfolds organically. Visually and sound-wise, the audience will be thoroughly thrilled.”
Bellamkonda also praised producer Sahu Garapati for not compromising on graphics or any technical aspects.
“Director Kaushik came in with a solid story, but films in this genre often face budget constraints. However, Sahu Garapati was clear from the beginning that he wanted to deliver the best experience to the audience.”
Speaking about co-star Anupama, he said, “Her performance is fresh and unique. Taking on such a character is no easy task.”
He further stated that films like Kishkindhapuri offer a completely different level of experience when watched in packed theatres with an enthusiastic crowd.
