Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam collaborated for the second time, after 36 years, and the movie #KH234 was launched last month.
The makers announced that Jayam Ravi, Dulquer Salmaan and Trisha Krishnan are roped in to play crucial roles in this big-budget film.
While this is the second movie for Dulquer with the director after Ok Bangaram, Trisha previously starred in Mani Ratnam’s Yuva, PS-1 and PS-2. Jayam Ravi was also part of PS series.
A day before Kamal’s birthday, the makers revealed the film’s title Thug Life through a powerful glimpse that introduces his character in a first-of-its-kind character.
He stands firm, while a group of people try to attack him, and he shows his mightiness when they reach him.
The glimpse demonstrates the scale of the movie and the kind of technical, and production standards Thug Life has. The video surely blows everyone’s minds.
Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, R Mahendran, and Siva Ananth together are bankrolling the project, with Udhayanidhi Stalin as the presenter.
Music director AR Rahman, DOP Ravi K Chandran, editor Sreekar Prasad and stunt directors Anbariv are the prominent technicians working for the movie.
