Kireeti Reddy’s debut flick Junior which generated a lot of enthusiasm with its promotional material is set for release on the 18th of this month.
The team celebrated its pre-release event today.
Kireeti stated that he wants the movie to be a success for Sai Korrapati, who placed his complete trust in him.
"My producer Sai believed in me completely," he said. "A big thanks to Genelia for making a comeback after 13 years. The importance of her role is evident from the fact that she agreed to take it up, it's a very unique and well-written character."
He went on to express his gratitude to DOP Senthil, saying, "Behind the camera, he gave me incredible support and encouragement."
Kireeti also thanked Peter Hein and Venkat Master for choreographing the action sequences in the film.
"There’s a particular 10-minute sequence that I believe is truly unique in Indian cinema. It involved over 1,000 fighters and was made possible only because of Peter Master. The pre-climax bus action sequence choreographed by Venkat master will be brilliant."
Kireeti concluded his speech by taking a moment to remember and pay tribute to NTR, whom he deeply admires.
Rajamouli stated that the movie became such big with the addition of Sreeleela, Genelia, and Ravichandran in the cast, and music director Devi Sri Prasad, cinematographer Senthil Kumar and stunt director Peter Hein in the technical crew.
“This may have started as a small movie, but it doesn't feel like one at all. The fact that it’s being released in over 1000 screens shows the kind of interest it has generated among the audience.
Congratulations to Sai for taking this film, which began modestly, to such a grand level.
Genelia looks like she’s frozen in time, so many years have passed, and yet she’s still the same. Time and again, Devi lifts films with his songs.
There’s no need to even mention how big a hit Viral Vayyari has become. Devi’s contribution has played a huge part in creating all this hype.
When star technicians like Senthil and Peter Hein complimented, it shows the dedication of Kireeti.
