A film on a legendary cricketer is always most welcome. '800' is one such film, telling the story of Muttiah Muralitharan's life.
The legendary Sri Lankan bowler is played by Madhur Mittal in this promising Indian film produced by Movie Train Motion Pictures.
To be released in multiple languages in October, its trailer launch event is going to be held in Mumbai on Tuesday (September 5).
Sachin Tendulkar, India's pride and Bharat Ratna, is going to grace the event as the chief guest. He will share the dais with a few other cricketing greats.
Senior Tollywood producer Sivalenka Krishna Prasad owns the theatrical rights to the all-India release of '800'.
He said that Team '800' is proud to host Sachin, who won the hearts of crores of Indians with his impeccable skills on the field.
"The post-production of '800' is going on at a fast pace," he added.
Mahima Nambiar will be seen as Muralitharan's wife in the movie. Naren, Nassar, Vela Ramamoorthy, Riythvika, and others have different roles.
Directed by MS Sripathy, the film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and English. The precise October release date will be made official soon.
