Indira Gandhi's Character Crucial In TNR: Vamsee

Director Vamsee is coming up with his third directorial Tiger Nageswara Rao starring Ravi Teja in the titular role with Abhishek Agarwal bankrolling it.

The director shared interesting aspects of the movie in his exclusive interview with greatandhra.com.

The director spent more than 4 years on the project.

“It took long time, because the story demanded a big hero and big production house. My second movie would have been Tiger Nageswara Rao. But, when Anil Sunkara garu approached me for Kittu Unnadu Jagratha, I did because I felt the story interesting. I narrated the story to 3 other heroes. Though they liked the idea, they didn’t do it due to their prior commitments.”

Abhishek Agarwal made the movie on a grand scale.

“Abhishek Agarwal wants to make epic and never-told-before kind of stories. Tiger Nageswara Rao is an epic story. He liked the story and never put in budget objections. It took more than 2 years for me to prepare the script. I met Nageswara Rao’s wife and his brother. She gave me NOC to make the movie.”

The trailer had references of Indira Gandhi.

“Indiara Gandhi’s episode is one of the major highlights of the movie. It’s not just about robbery. This sequence will be very interesting and it’s an interval bang.”

Vamsee says the movie will have high moments that will give goosebumps to Ravi Teja fans.

“I gave one and half hour narration for first half, and narrated the latter half in one and half hour on the very next day. He involved completely and I was mesmerized by his involvement. Though he gave me his inputs, he didn’t ask any changes in the script.”

The director also assures there will be many whistle worthy sequences in the movie which is set for release on October 20th. Watch the video for full interview:
