"Indian 2" is being directed by Shankar, with Kamal Haasan starring in it. Shankar put aside Ram Charan's "Game Changer" to finish shooting Kamal Haasan's film first. However, the film will not be released this year.
In an interview, Udaynidhi Stalin, who primarily distributes big Tamil films in Tamilnadu, stated that "Indian 2" will only be released in theaters in April 2024.
On the other hand, Kamal Haasan was so impressed with Shankar's work that he gifted the director a watch and posted a photo on Twitter.
He also praised Shankar for reaching the pinnacle of his creative abilities with "Indian 2." However, Kamal Haasan advised Shankar not to be satisfied and wished him more success in the future.
