Harish Shankar Pens Apology to Mahesh Babu's Fans

Harish Shankar Pens Apology to Mahesh Babu's Fans

Harish Shankar has been connecting with fans ahead of the release of Ustaad Bhagat Singh through Twitter.

He has been replying to fans who are eagerly asking for updates and other details.

Harish Shankar is actively promoting the film on social media by engaging with fans, which is a good effort.

However, it seems he did not read one fan’s message fully.

When a fan stated that “Ustaad Bhagat Singh” should break the box office records of “Bob,” referring to Mahesh Babu, Harish Shankar responded with “Thadastu.”

It appears he did not understand the context and replied “Thadastu,” meaning “so be it” or “may it happen.”

Although the post was deleted soon after, screenshots of the reply began circulating online.

Mahesh Babu’s fans then reacted strongly and started trending posts against Harish Shankar and the film.

Following the backlash, Harish Shankar today penned a letter addressing Mahesh Babu’s fans.

“I have immense respect for Superstar Mahesh Babu garu. In fact, I have always believed that many records will be created in his name with Varanasi. This was an unintentional mistake with absolutely no intention to hurt him or his fans,” he wrote.
