Bollywood Diva Alia Bhatt will be next seen in Gangubai Kathiawadi directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
The movie is also releasing in Telugu and its teaser has arrived in the theaters with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan's Vakeel Saab which released today.
Alia is seen in a bold character of a brothel who bows to neither pimp nor politician.
Her screen presence is the major highlight of the film and the punch dialogue at the end makes a striking impression.
The character's styling and costumes look appropriate to the times and character. All in all, the teaser is intriguing and makes instant impression.
Gangubai is based on a chapter from Hussain Zaidi’s book, Mafia Queens of Mumbai, it is a powerful subject which establishes a performer like Alia.
The Telugu dubbing looks neat. The technical values are topnotch as in all Bhansali films. It looks a perfect launchpad for the actress in Telugu ahead of her first straight film, Rajamouli's RRR.
