'Fighter': Disaster In India- Doing Good Abroad

The film "Fighter," featuring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone as air force officers, has experienced a significant decline in its domestic box office performance.

Despite this, the movie is enjoying success on the international front, with robust weekday earnings reported in the USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand following a strong opening weekend.

According to Sacnilk, the total domestic box office collection for "Fighter" stands at ₹134 crore after six days in theaters. However, daily earnings have plummeted to single digits this week, with Monday seeing ₹8 crore and yesterday bringing in ₹7.5 crore, a sharp drop from Sunday's ₹29 crore.

In light of these figures, it can be asserted that "Fighter" is facing a disastrous run in India, while its performance in foreign regions remains relatively strong for reasons yet unknown.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, "Fighter" also features Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, and Akshay Oberoi in pivotal roles.
