Actor Santosh Sobhan is playing the lead role in the upcoming film Couple Friendly, with Manasa Varanasi as the female lead.
The film is being produced in Telugu and Tamil by UV Concepts and presented by the well-known banner UV Creations. Ajay Kumar Raju P. is the co-producer, and the film is directed by Ashwin Chandrasekhar.
Couple Friendly is a musical romantic love story and is set for release on February 14, marking Valentine’s Day.
Producer and distributor Dheeraj Mogilineni is releasing the film across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. A pre-release press meet was held in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
Speaking at the event, Dheeraj Mogilineni said the censor board had suggested changing the film’s title. However, since the movie was made and promoted with the same name, the team decided not to change it at the last minute.
As a result, the Telugu version received an A certificate, while the Tamil version was cleared with a UA certificate.
Dheeraj also clarified rumours about adult content. He said Couple Friendly is a clean love story and can even be called a family entertainer.
He added that both the hero and heroine come from good family backgrounds, and family characters play an important role in the story.
Hero Santosh Soban said the film is getting strong support from everyone. He shared that the promotional tour received a very positive response and that the encouragement from fans has made him happy and confident.
He added that after Dheeraj came on board, the entire team felt more confident. Santosh also mentioned that producer Ajay and director Ashwin are fully committed to the film.
He further revealed that Prabhas shared the film’s trailer on Instagram on his own, even before the team requested him. Santosh described it as a heartfelt gesture and said it meant a lot to the entire team.
