Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor attended the funeral of her ex-husband Sunjay Kapur in Delhi on June 19, along with their children, Samaira and Kiaan.
They paid their last respects in a simple and emotional ceremony, joined by other family members including Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan.
The final rites were held at Lodhi Road Cremation Ground.
Sunjay Kapur passed away on June 12 while playing polo in the UK, reportedly due to a heart attack caused by swallowing a bee.
The news shocked many. A prayer meeting will be held in his memory on June 22 in Delhi, organised by his mother, current wife Priya, and all his children, including those from Karisma.
Karisma looked emotional during the cremation, which deeply moved many onlookers.
Sunjay and Karisma married in 2003 and divorced in 2016 after a bitter legal battle. Karisma got full custody of their kids.
Sunjay later married Priya Sachdev, with whom he had another child. Karisma remained single after divorce.
