Director Rajamouli clarified that 'RRR' is not going to be pushed for another date. He reiterated that the film would hit the theaters on Jan 7th as scheduled. We are not postponing the film, he mentioned.
Rajamouli’s clarification comes as a relief to NTR and Ram Charan’s fans as they have made all arrangements for the celebrations for the film.
Meanwhile, producer DVV Danayya is under pressure from distributors. He sold the film at record rates to distributors in Andhra Pradesh.
The issue of ticket prices in Andhra Pradesh is coming to an end, but it is also evident that the government is in no mood to increase ticket prices massively. The government will also not grant additional shows.
As this has become clear, the distributors are asking Danayya for a rebate of 40% on their deal.
Danayya has not relented to their demand yet. But he will eventually have to change their earlier deal. He reportedly asked the distributors to wait for some more days for clarity.
