Dhurandhar has been enjoying a blockbuster run at the box office since its release on December 5 and has now emerged as the highest-grossing Indian film of 2025.
The Ranveer Singh–starrer has officially entered the elite ₹1,000 crore club at the global box office, cementing its place among the biggest Indian hits in recent years.
According to figures shared by Jio Studios, Dhurandhar crossed the ₹1,000 crore milestone in just 21 days, with its total worldwide gross standing at ₹1,006.7 crore.
In the process, the film has shattered several records, overtaking earlier 2025 blockbusters Kantara Chapter 1 (₹852 crore worldwide) and Chhaava (₹807.91 crore worldwide).
The film has also delivered exceptional numbers in India.
In its first 21 days, Dhurandhar collected over ₹650 crore domestically. As per official data, the film earned ₹28.60 crore on Day 21, which coincided with the Christmas holiday.
Breaking down the domestic performance, Dhurandhar collected ₹218 crore in its opening week, followed by ₹261.50 crore in the second week.
Between Days 15 and 20, it added another ₹160.70 crore, before closing Day 21 with ₹28.60 crore. With this, the film’s total net collection in India stands at ₹668.80 crore, and it is now racing towards the ₹700 crore mark.
With these numbers, Dhurandhar has also entered the list of the top ten highest-grossing Indian films based on domestic net collections, surpassing Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal to secure the ninth position.
Headlined by Ranveer Singh, the film features a powerful ensemble cast including Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film’s gripping narrative and strong performances have played a key role in its phenomenal box office success.
The makers have already announced a sequel, which was revealed in the post-credit scene and is scheduled for a theatrical release on March 19, 2026. The sequel will release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
With its record-breaking run and entry into the ₹1,000 crore club, Dhurandhar is all set to close 2025 on a historic high at the box office.
