Dharmendra's Empire: Farmhouse & Flashy Cars!

Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra, who is currently undergoing treatment at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital, is far more than a cinematic legend.

The 89-year-old icon; celebrated for classics like Phool Aur Patthar, Mera Gaon Mera Desh, Sholay, Khamoshi, Johnny Gaddar, and the upcoming Ikkis; also commands a massive net worth of ₹335 crore, making him one of the wealthiest stars of his generation.

Often called the original He-Man or Garam Dharam of Indian cinema, Dharmendra turned his stardom into smart business ventures, entering the restaurant and hospitality industries.

He launched his first eatery, Garam Dharam Dhaba, in 2015 in New Delhi and later opened He-Man, another restaurant on the Karnal Highway in 2022.

Though based in Mumbai, the Padma Bhushan awardee frequently retreats to his 100-acre farmhouse in Lonavala, a peaceful escape surrounded by lush greenery.

The property boasts luxury amenities, including a heated swimming pool, where Dharmendra is known to undergo aqua therapy.

Reports suggest he owns real estate worth over ₹17 crore in Maharashtra, along with agricultural land valued at around ₹88 lakh and non-agricultural plots worth ₹52 lakh.

Dharmendra is also expanding his hospitality ventures, with plans to build a 30-cottage resort on a 12-acre plot near his Lonavala farmhouse, in collaboration with a restaurant chain; a project first reported by The Economic Times in 2015.

A true connoisseur of automobiles, Dharmendra’s car collection is a mix of nostalgia and luxury. From his first vintage Fiat to modern-day beauties like the Range Rover Evoque (₹85.7 lakh) and Mercedes-Benz SL500 (₹98.1 lakh), his garage reflects both sentiment and sophistication.

Beyond acting, Dharmendra has made a mark as a film producer. In 1983, he founded Vijayta Films, through which he introduced his sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol with the hits Betaab (1983) and Barsaat (1995). He also launched his grandson Karan Deol in Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas (2019).

From his cinematic legacy to his thriving ventures, Dharmendra’s life stands as a testament to timeless charm, sharp business acumen, and an unyielding passion for reinvention — even at 89.
