Dhanush’s maiden Telugu film under the direction of Venky Atluri, titled Sir is getting ready for its theatrical release.
The makers have locked the release date and the movie will be hitting the screens on December 2nd.
The announcement poster sees Dhanush sitting on the table in a class room and showing his finger upward, where we can see the release date. Alongside the students, there is woman standing in front of him.
Billed to be an out and out entertainer, the film will see Dhanush as a lecturer who fights against education mafia. The film’s teaser that was released couple of months ago got tremendous response.
S Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya are bankrolling the project under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas banners.
Samyuktha Menon plays the female lead in the movie that has cinematography handled by Dinesh Krishnan, while GV Prakash Kumar scores music.
Dhanush who scored a hit with Thiru is also doing few other movies.
