Venky Atluri is directing the first straight film of Tamil star Dhanush and the bilingual film Sir is being produced jointly by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.
Samyuktha Menon is playing the heroine opposite Dhanush. There is some delay in Sir’s theatrical arrival.
The film will grace the cinemas on February 17, 2023. Since many big-ticket films are releasing for Sankranthi, the makers chose a safe zone. Moreover, they want to spend a good time for movie promotions in Telugu as well as Tamil.
While one poster presents Dhanush in a class avatar in formals. He is seen lying on stairs, and he is surrounded by some students. The second poster shows Dhanush in a serious avatar as he takes on some goons.
Set in the backdrop of college, Dhanush will be seen as a lecturer in the movie. GV Prakash Kumar provides soundtracks for the movie being made on a lavish budget.
The makers so far released the teaser of the movie on Dhanush’s birthday and the first single a few days ago.
While the teaser was well received, the song Mastaaru became a chartbuster.
