Insiders suggest there are two reasons behind this decision. One is to maximize business and increase profits.
The other reason is that the team realized they couldn't finish shooting the entire story within the given timeframe.
NTR is committed to starting shooting for the Bollywood film “War 2” in December or January 2024. Consequently, he cannot prolong the shooting of “Devara” for many months.
Additionally, NTR will also need to commence work on director Prashanth Neel’s film in May 2024.
As a prudent choice, the team has decided to release the first part on April 5, 2024, and plan the second part after completing “War 2” and the film directed by Prashanth Neel.
