Corona Scare Will Continue To Haunt Cinema Industry

Vehicular traffic has increased and the public movement has also seen a rapid raise in the last few days.

Shops are open and the restrictions on parks, movie theaters, restaurants and malls are still in place. Teliugu Cinema bigwigs met Telangana CM KCR to seek permission for film shootings and he has suggested to resume work from June by taking necessary precautions.

However, cinema theaters will not be opened for few more weeks if not months. Even exhibitors and the owners of movie theatre chains are not ready to open anytime soon.

There is not enough content for cinema theaters to run like before. Also, most of the theaters are not equipped with the resources to deal with the pandemic.

Although people are coming out in big numbers, they are aware enough to avoid going to unessential shops and places.

With the scare of coronavirus still looming large over the nation, public will avoid going to movie theaters at least until it seems safe.

Hence, cinema industry can complete the pending works in the meantime, but its wait for theatrical business will not be over anytime soon.
