Dhanush’s character is shown as a dacoit who calls himself a devil. He is merciless and the journey offers an adrenaline rush.
He's actually a local rebel fighting for his people against the colonization of his village. Seems like, there’s a treasure in the village. While the British want to loot, the villagers try to safeguard it.
Apart from Dhanush, the trailer also showed the characters of Priyanka Mohan, Sundeep Kishan and Shiva Rajkumar.
Arun Matheswaran impresses with his work as a director. The blocks captured by Siddhartha Nuni are spectacular, while GV Prakash Kumar augmented the intensity with his superb score. The production design is majestic.
