Bollywood Critics Are Parasites, A Threat To Cinema: Sandeep Vanga

Sandeep Reddy Vanga is not someone who takes criticism lying down. The Arjun Reddy director hits back at critics that slammed his film Kabir Singh in the most brutal way.

He called them parasites and said they are a bigger threat to the film industry than piracy.

He said he is open to criticism, but is unhappy that Bollywood critics labelling his film as misogynistic, in an interview with Anupama Chopra.

Sandeep lambasted critic Rajeev Masand by calling him fat and said that he is biased.

When he doesn't have problem with Sanju and has given it 3.5 stars, why does he have an issue with Kabir Singh, he asked. Incidentally, Sanju was produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, spouse of Anupama Chopra.

The Kabir Singh director branded most of the Bollywood critics as 'Pseudo' and said that there would have been more criticism had the film collected around Rs. 80 crore.

Sandeep said that he would make his future films as per his liking and doesn't try to please the critics.

Meanwhile, Kabir Singh has gone past Rs. 225 Crore at Indian box office and is set to become the highest grossing Bollywood movie of the year.
