Aamir Khan recently opened up about his 60th birthday and how he has no memory of the celebration.
Although he no longer drinks, he decided to make an exception for the occasion — and it hit him harder than expected.
Speaking to Mashable India, Aamir said, “My family organized a party for my 60th and invited all my close friends. It was supposed to be a memorable night — and it was, just not for me. I usually don’t drink anymore, but that day I thought, ‘Why not?’ I’m an extreme person, and since I hadn’t been drinking for a while, it affected me quickly. We started around 7 pm, and by 9, I was buzzing.”
He added, “I behaved normally, responded to conversations, but when I woke up the next day, everything was wiped from my memory. It was scary.”
Despite several pictures and videos from the party, Aamir admitted he had no recollection of the night.
Aamir Khan is now preparing for the release of Sitaare Zameen Par, the sequel to his 2007 hit Taare Zameen Par. The film is scheduled to premiere on June 20, 2025.
